FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA, USA (DEC. 5, 2025) — María Sánchez stole the show as Tigres edged out AFC Toronto 3–2 in a rollercoaster clash packed with chances, drama, and end-to-end action.

Toronto struck first through Esther Okoronkwo, who capitalised on a midfield turnover with a low, driven finish inside five minutes. Tigres answered immediately, Sánchez unleashing a thunderous left-footed strike from outside the box to level the scores.
