Semifinal #2 Recap — Manchester United headed to the title game
United triumph 2-0 over rivals City to reach W7F final

UNITED CLAIM MANCHESTER BRAGGING RIGHTS AND FINAL SPOT
ESTORIL, PORTUGAL (23 May, 2025) — Manchester United are through to the W7F final after a commanding 2-0 win over rivals Manchester City in the second semifinal of the day. In a fiercely anticipated derby clash, United proved the sharper and more clinical side, setting up a mouthwatering final showdown against Bayern München. Melvine Malard opened the scoring in the 4th minute with a sublime striker's finish — a first-time volley into the top corner that left Khiara Keating no chance. United kept the pressure high, with Grace Clinton and Malard again testing Keating, who delivered two top-tier saves to keep City in it before halftime. Despite Keating’s heroics, United remained in control. After Grace Clinton rattled the bar in the 23rd minute, Gabrielle George capitalized on the momentum just a minute later, calmly finishing at the near post to make it 2-0. City, far from their day 1 and 2 versions, struggled to create clear chances. The final whistle confirmed it — Manchester is red, and so is Estoril as United march on to face Bayern in the final.
