Semifinal #1 Recap — Bayern München roll into the final
The Germans dazzle in a 5-0 defeat of PSG to advance to the title match

BAYERN PUT ON A MASTERCLASS TO REACH W7F FINAL
ESTORIL, PORTUGAL (23 May, 2025) — Bayern München are the first team through to the W7F final after a sensational 5-0 win over Paris Saint-Germain in the opening semifinal at the Estádio Coimbra da Mota. With arguably the most complete performance of the tournament so far, Bayern combined ruthless execution with fluid, expressive football to dismantle PSG in style. After early signs of dominance, Bayern broke through in the 14th minute when Jovana Damnjanovic headed in powerfully following a defensive lapse. One minute later, Maria Plattner doubled the lead with a smooth finish off the far post after an exquisite assist from Damnjanovic. The second half brought even more fireworks. Momoko Tanikawa, now on four goals in the tournament, produced a magical solo effort, nutmegging her defender and curling into the top corner to make it 3-0. Sarah Zadrazil added a fourth after a dazzling four-pass combination carved open the PSG defense. Tanikawa struck again in the 28th minute, capping off Bayern's "tiki-taka" showcase with another sharp finish. PSG simply had no answer. They now head to the third-place match, while Bayern, with four wins in four and a brand of football that has thrilled the crowd all week, await the winner of the Manchester Derby semifinal.
