Semi Finals Are Set For W7F Championship Sunday
CLUB AMÉRICA, FLAMENGO, SAN DIEGO WAVE FC AND TIGRES ADVANCE TO THE LAST FOUR

FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA (USA) — Following two exciting days of Women’s Sevens Football group play at Beyond Bancard Stadium, four clubs emerged from an elite field, advancing to Sunday’s semi final.
Tigres and Club América will kick off at 11:30 a.m. EST followed by San Diego Wave FC and Flamengo at 1 p.m.
The winners of the semi final advance to The Final at 4:30 p.m. while the losers will face off in the Third-Place Match at 3 p.m.
HOW THEY GOT HERE
- Tigres were victorious in Group One after going 2-1 in pool play, defeating AFC Toronto (3-2) and Flamengo (3-0) but falling to the Kansas City Current in a penalty shootout. Their eight overall goals is tied for the top scoring mark with Club América. María Sánchez is on a dominant run of play, scoring six goals and cementing her status as the all-time top scorer across both W7F editions.
- Group Two was topped by San Diego Wave FC, the only undefeated club in the W7F Tournament. San Diego ran through pool play, defeating Deportivo Cali (3-0), Club América (PKs) and Nacional (3-1). Makenzy Robbe (3 goals) leads the scoring efforts while goalkeeper DiDi Haračić has been one of the top net minders, surrendering two goals and making seven saves.
- Flamengo danced its way to a second-place finish in Group One. The Brazillian side is full of energy and beat Kansas City Current (3-2) and AFC Toronto in penalty kicks before falling to Tigers (3-0) to close out pool play. Vivi Holzel is the top-rated goalkeeper among the four semi finalists. She has 13 saves on 17 shots faced with only four goals against. Glaucia (3 goals) and Ju Ferreira (2 goals) are both among the Top 10 goal scorers in the tournament.
- Club América needed a game-three victory over Deportivo Cali to earn its spot in the semi finals. They matched Tigres with eight goals in pool play, topping the scoring charts. Montserrat Saldívar (3 goals) and Jana Gutiérrez (2 goals) both rank among the top seven scorers in the tournament. Sarah Luebbert rates as the top playmaker with three assists, six key passes and an 80% pass rate in three games.

Match 16 — 4:30–5:30 PM: Winner SF 1 vs. Winner SF 2 (DAZN, TNT, TruTV, HBO Max)
