Match 10 Recap — Ajax Notch First Win
Ajax tops FC Rosengård 2-0 as both sides fail to advance to knockouts

AJAX FINISH ON A HIGH AS ROSENGÅRD STRUGGLE
ESTORIL, PORTUGAL (22 May, 2025) — Ajax wrapped up their W7F group campaign with a solid 2-0 win over FC Rosengård, thanks to goals from Lily Yohannes and Bente Jansen. With both teams already out of semi-final contention, this match decided 3rd and 4rd place in group 1. Still just 17 years old, Yohannes opened the scoring early with a clinical finish inside the box, while Jansen doubled the lead late on after a powerful strike from Lotte Keukelaar took a deflection. Despite a few close chances, Rosengård couldn’t find the back of the net and exit the tournament without a goal or a win.
