FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA, USA (DEC. 6, 2025) — Deportivo Cali delivered a commanding performance in a fiery South American clash, cruising to a 4–0 victory over Club Nacional at the World Sevens Football tournament.

The atmosphere was electric, fueled by passionate South American fans from both sides filling Beyond Bancard Stadium with drums, chants, and vibrant energy. It took Cali ten minutes to break the deadlock when Kelly Ibargüen unleashed a stunning rocket from outside the box that soared into the top right corner, sending the crowd into a frenzy.

The visitors kept the pressure on after halftime, extending their lead with a slick counterattack finished off by Zharick Montoya. A misfortune for Club Nacional came moments later with an own goal that pushed Cali’s advantage to 3–0. Leidy Cobos then sealed the win with a spectacular airborne finish over the keeper, capping off Cali’s first three points of the tournament.
