Everton and London City Join World Sevens Football London Edition

Everton Women and London City Lionesses have become the latest clubs to join the lineup for World Sevens Football London Edition. They join Aston Villa, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United in a star-studded set vying for a high-stakes prize pool.

The Blues and London City will be part of three days of high-octane football at Brentford’s Gtech Community Stadium from Thursday, 28 May, to Saturday, 30 May. W7F London Edition will bring together top clubs, elite players and passionate supporters in the way that only World Sevens Football can.

“We’re thrilled to see the London City Lionesses and Everton Women become part of what is shaping up to be a truly special London edition,” said Sarah Cummins, CEO of World Sevens Football. “Both clubs bring a strong sense of ambition that aligns naturally with what we’re building through W7F. This London edition is designed to draw fans closer to the game, celebrating the end of the WSL season with something fast-paced, action-packed and entertaining.”

Building on the success of tournaments in Estoril, Portugal, and Fort Lauderdale, Florida, W7F London Edition will feature the intensity and joy of football in a format built for the modern game. For all fifteen matches of the tournament, supporters can look forward to:

  • Seven-a-side, 30-minute matches
  • A half-sized pitch, rolling substitutions and no offside rule
  • DJs and a festival atmosphere

Tickets for W7F London Edition start at £17 and are now available at worldsevens.com. Options include single-day tickets, three-day passes and family packages.

For those unable to attend in person, the tournament will also feature content and coverage designed to put supporters right in the middle of the action. Follow W7F on Instagram, TikTok, X and Facebook for the latest from W7F London Edition.

The remaining two clubs and broadcast details will be announced in May.
