AFC Toronto Joins World Sevens Football Lineup for Fort Lauderdale Tournament - Tickets on Sale Now

World Sevens Football (W7F) has announced AFC Toronto, the winners of the 2025 Northern Super League Supporters’ Shield, as the third elite club confirmed for its first-ever North American tournament, taking place December 5–7, 2025, at Beyond Bancard Field in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The Canadian side joins Mexico’s Club América and Brazil’s Clube de Regatas do Flamengo on a growing lineup of world-class clubs set to compete in W7F’s fast-paced, seven-a-side format, with teams battling for glory and a share of the $5 million prize pool — one of the largest in the women’s game.

A Global Tournament Returns

After an electrifying debut in Estoril, Portugal, that captivated fans around the world, World Sevens Football returns this December to deliver once again the high-energy spectacle and global excitement that define the tournament. Eight elite clubs will battle it out over three action-packed days, chasing a share of the $5 million prize pool. The inaugural tournament featured unforgettable performances and ended in dramatic fashion as Bayern München edged Manchester United in a thrilling final.
